Yasmin Tabi is the editor-in-chief of 1-42, an online magazine dedicated to globally informing men and women about how they can participate in humanitarian action around the globe through articles on culture, news, and general active citizenry. After completing her masters degree in publishing, Yasmin worked as an online editor, program coordinator, and finally in development before she decided to go to law school for human rights. She is currently in her third year and hoping to get back to South Africa, where she worked last summer on family law and HIV/AIDS issues in the law. 1-42 is currently on hold until graduation, but Christina and I are always looking for new ideas and for people who want to be a part of our exchange... |
